Silvermaid of Lurue Cleric Archetype

Silvermaids are specialty priests devoted to Lurue, the Unicorn Queen. As with many of Lurue’s clergy, silvermaids are always female. And they are typically humans, half-elves, or elves. Silvermaids provided aid and comfort to those in need. They are particularly fond of helping those with grand dreams and aspirations. Many silvermaids are filled with wanderlust and roamed across Faerun. They’re not only skilled horseback riders, but also at riding both unicorns and pegasi.

Patron Deity and Alignment: The Silvermaid must have Lurue as her chosen patron, she must choose the Animal domain as one of her domains, and must remain Good in alignment. If she ever leaves the service of Lurue or strays from this alignment requirement, she loses the abilities of this archetype. She may seek atonement in order to regain these features.

Class Skills: The Silvermaid gains Ride (Dex) as a class skill. This modifies the cleric’s class skills.

Proficiencies: The Silvermaid may wear no heavier than light armor and light shields, and gains no proficiency in medium armor. She may not wear heavier armor, even if levels in another class would allow it. Shields and armor made of mithral, celestial mithral and other materials that lighten the armor to the light category are however, accceptable. She is proficient in all simple weapons, spears and the lance. This alters the cleric’s proficiencies.

Healing Touch: At 1st level, the Silvermaid can lay her hands upon herself or another to channel her Goddess’ healing energy, as the Lay Hands ability of a paladin the same as her cleric level. At 4th level, and every 4 levels thereafter, she may choose one of the following paladin’s mercies to add to her healing touch, treating her cleric level as her paladin level for the purpose of qualifying for said mercy: Fatigued, Sickened, Diseased, Enfeebled, Exhausted, Nauseated, Poisoned, Restorative, Blinded, Deafened, Paralyzed.

This ability is treated as both the Lay Hands and Mercy ability for the purpose of qualifying for feats and other abilities. This ability replaces Channel Energy.

Blessed Mount: At 4th level, the Silvermaid gains the Divine Bond feature of the paladin, with which she gains a unicorn as her companion. This mount is treated in all ways as the paladin’s mount for its progression. This replaces the 4th level domain power of the Silvermaid’s Animal domain.
