Appearance

Silver hair, lithe form, curious eyes that always seem to watching the world around her with a smile. They carry themselves with confidence most of the time, and pride behind that caring playful nature. Clothing tends toward a handmade cobble of fabric, leather and skins from her pack’s kills. As with many of her kind, there’s an uncanny beauty

about her appearance, though in her demeanour she carries herself more akin to the forest elves. When in her Elven form a few tattoos can be seen, though not as many as among wild elves. She also tends to travel light, weapons and other vital tools alongside small mementos, her favourites of which may be woven into the hair.

In her wolf form, she’s lithe, proud and strong, and yet still with that silver hair. Those same eyes watch the world around her, with that same haughtiness, and in her mane remain some of the weavings that she plaited in her head of elven hair.

Background

Curiosity, that was what brought her to these lands. Not some big pain or a driving goal she was just…curious. As a young Cub she was the one who would split from the rest of the pack and explore paths, the first to wander from the rest of the tribe, and see new streams. The first to enter the villages and settlements and walk amongst the other Quessir, the Quessir stuck to a single form and spoke to them before vanishing back into the woods to run with the rest of her pack. Curiosity, she was never happy with the known, she wanted to see new things. Eventually through even the other Quessir as cursed as they were to be stuck to a single form… bored her!

The differences were just so… similar, the mindset so familiar, if so limited, because she was blessed. Blessed to be both Wolf and Quessir, she wanted to see something new. So when she found the Elf Gate, she didn’t think too long about it, nor spend time telling the rest of her Pack, her Tribe, both terms were correct… she just called her friend, the true wolf she had known all their life, watched her birth, the two packs running as one, and ran through it with her. The land she found herself in was so very different, not at first, at first it seemed just another wood… through one she did not know, but then new people, different scents, so very different.

Humans, she had heard the tales of Humans of course back on Evermeet, quick lives and so very different, these would be her focus for now. She skirted around a hamlet of them watching their lives for years on end she watched them unseen. In that time her friend had cubs, and in time grew old. Too old to join the hunt, and eventually passed away but her cubs remained, as much as she mourned the passing of her friend, she had her children to love and care for and she would have theirs in time as well. In all this time she continued to watch the Village, she watched the birth of a child in the village and then watched them grow up and experience their first steps, and then she watched them have their first crush, and then as more years passed, she watched their marriage and then came a new scent. One she had not experienced before. It was a scent of death, or perhaps of the promise of death and it came towards the village. For the first time she howled her warning hoping they would hear and understand, a warning cry all in her Pack knew but the villagers did not. They took after her, thinking her the threat, that of a wolf stalking their village, so she ran and hid…. She was not there to see what happened.

She only returned to the aftermath, the village burned many of the inhabitants dead, she saw from the woods, her fascination still lived but her family was gone, and she learnt a new lesson that day. These lands were wonderful, the people who lived in them so fun to watch and explore but these lands were also dangerous and the lives she was fascinated by were so fragile, and she could not help them watching from the woods, she had to join them in their lives to really understand them.

Since then she has met new people and formed an attachment and started to explore the lands outside of the Green Isle.

Goals:

  • Explore and protect, she wants to see the worlds of humans and in time Dwarves, Gnomes and Hin to experience something so different.
  • Find the creatures who ever or whatever they may turn out to be that destroyed the village she had been watching and ensure they never do so again.
  • Find a way back home, perhaps even the gate she originally came through, it was a quick decision to jump through and she did not expect to forget where it was but by the time her curiosity had dimmed enough to think about going back, she had forgotten the path, she is happy here, but she does miss her Tribe and her people, and she’d love a quick way to get back to her people and then back to her wanderings, if only to assure them she is okay. (The important part here is quick, she doesn’t want to get a ship back to Evermeet, that’s too long. She doesn’t want to have a mage teleport her, she wants a way she can jump home see her Tribe and jump back in a day just because she felt like it).
  • To one day be able to approach that human she watched for so long, as herself, her full self, and explain without the human screaming in fear.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:

  • Lythari consider themselves both Quessir and Wolves; this will impact how she deals with the wild.
  • The child she watched still lives and she will do anything to protect them, even as she has moved to look at other things. If she heard the child was in danger, she would drop anything to return to defend them.
  • She left her pack with no explanation, they may come looking for her, if only to check she is okay!
