Dead Powers of Toril

The following are notable dead powers that may have fragments of worship still in the realms. These are either being answered by other gods, or simply going unanswered. Those who still worship these powers are doing so out of the belief they’re still alive, and perhaps there is a chance that such reverence may awaken them.

• Amaunator – Former Netherese god of the Sun and Desert, prayers being answered by Lathander.
• Bhaal – Formerly god of Murder, subsumed by Cyric.
• Ibrandul – Formerly god of Caverns and the Underdark, subsumed by Shar.
• Leira – Formerly goddess of Lies and Illusions, likely being answered by Cyric.
• Moander – Formerly god of Rot and Decay, subsumed by Lolth.
• Myrkul – Fomer god of Death, likely being answered by Cyric.
