The Lorestone Grove

The Lorestone Grove is a druid grove several hours into the forest outside of Highmoon.  It houses a mysterious stone altar known as “The Lorestone” which contains the knowledge of the druid grove over several centuries.

Located on a small island in the middle of a small lake, the Lorestone has unique magical properties, having bestowed it’s knowledge upon the defenders of the grove after it was nearly destroyed by invaders from The Far Realm.

It is currently protected by a druidess named Ashala.  Ashala is the last of her order, a red headed wood elf who likes birds and song, and she takes her duties as protector of the Lorestone seriously.  She lives in a hut on the shore near the island.

The grove is also protected, albeit rather flightily, by the nymph Collintra, who visits the grove and Ashala often, but lives out of a nearby glade.
