Background

It isn’t a tale of loss or sadness, or mistreatment, or misfortune. This is the Tale of a girl bored, who had everything she could wish for, the best instructors, the best of of everything. She wanted for nothing, and was bored. So bored. Her day started when she pulled herself out of her bed, the servants dressing her with the clothing selected for her, not by her. Then she was whisked from lesson to lesson, from social engagement to social engagement. It being important she was seen by the right people of course, and then back home she barely had to feed herself so much was done for her. She was bored… and this future seemed to stretch before her unchanging.

Then one day even her spouse was selected for her, the rising silver would ensure her families wealth would grow even if he was far older than her and she had no interest in the man. (or she would later realise Men in general) That night she decided something, it took days to get ready, but eventually she slipped away during another party, escaping right at the start of the night it wasn’t until the next morning her absence was discovered by that time she was discovering freedom far from the city.

Freedom is not of course easy, sometimes she faced poverty and scarcity but she thrived on this, being without, struggling was hard is hard but…. she is not bored any more and is determined never to go back, through she does want to get back some of the finer things in life she misses now. That was her past but stories never stand still. Liza arrived in Cormyr where she first met Ashera the two formed a relationship, slowly blushingly on both sides, until the day Ash brought something out in Liza she was unaware of.

Most of the Household would not recognise the Liza of today if they jumped back in time to meet this Eliza, the shy runaway is long gone, for that we can credit two more people. First the Celebrant Naleeah who took the more dominant side Ash had exposed and helped the initial understanding that it was okay, introduced concepts such as a safe word and told Liza how to be the woman she wanted to be, but it wasn’t until Naleeah left that the last part of the tale was found. Liza would often teleport to visit Naleeah and it was on one of those visits that she first met the dancer Serra and from there, she found someone who helped her finish her growth into the woman she had always been inside. They founded together the Cups of Joy, both a household and underneath it they founded a Smugglers Guild, and perhaps one day something more.

Personality profile

Gone is the Shy girl, Liza today is confident, proud, and greedy. She won’t deny her greed, she likes shiny things, but she also wants love, and family, and in the end as much as she wants shiny things, she would give it up for her family or for a good cause, through then she’d build it back again. Which is where the smuggler’s guild comes in ambitious as to it’s future, Liza dreams of hidden ports and ships. Legitimate fronts spread across Toril to hide the enterprise beneath, their start in Highmoon and Lucy’s endevors in Suzail are just the beginning to Liza. Yet tearing her away from that ambition is a her new found fascination with ever more complicated magical research, her dream is to build a Extra Planar Home for the entire House their own demi Plane and even more recently? She has decided it might be useful to one day master the art of Construct making, after all their growing household? Will need protectors and nannies soon.
